In Acts 17, the Apostle Paul encountered the Greek Philosophers and he rejected their philosophy as nothing more than "a trap" or, as he says explicitly in Colossians 2:8, "empty deception." But today we will consider their philosophy in some detail only as a means of showing how empty and dry it is compared to the fullness and soul satisfying pleasure of knowing Jesus!
